some of my favorite tracks i've made so far. for more about me, check out my bio!

twilight

twilight

When making this track, I wanted to expand more on the blend between recording guitar and MIDI synthesizers that I played with in synthmessing. It's composed with live performance in mind. There are plans to make a version of this done by No Clue, but I associate this early version with myu.

take a break

take a break

I started take a break on a trip to vegas with my dad. I remember working on it on the plane and trying to hear the music over the obnoxiously loud white noise. It was simple to make, everything fell together so perfectly. Synthmessing and take a break were the first myu tracks that I completed to my satisfaction. Putting them together under the same release and adding a seamless transition was something I felt was necessary since I began working on the tracks.

synthmessing

synthmessing

I made synthmessing my senior year of highschool. Around this time is when I started fully applying myself to advancing my production skills. I started this project wanting to make something that would really move me if I heard it out of the blue, something that would stop a conversation when the beat dropped. I have the strongest connection with the song compared to my others. I still make different versions of it. I strive to truly do the song justice.

rising sun

rising sun

This is the first song No Clue wrote. Our first version, meant for live performance, was relatively bare-bones and simply structured. This left a lot of room to build on when producing.

can i go upstairs ?

can i go upstairs ?

I wrote this song on MIDI instruments in Ableton. The name of the song comes from me getting called to dinner then asking if I could continue working on the song. I most of my experience with collaborative song writing and arranging making this song with the band.
